I just got my D100 for a few days and I am still in the learning period. Just want to post some images to share with you. The photos are taken with D100, AF 24-120mm f/3.5-5.5, auto white balance, auto sharpness, resolution: large, image quality: JPEG fine, ISO 400.

Congratulation for your purchase. By the way, where do you buy it in Hong Kong?
I too consider getting one myself but the asking price is much more than I expect. You know, for a US$2000 camera, I would expect it to cost me around HK$15000 in Hong Kong but the asking price in local stores are around HK$17500 to 17800. I wonder nikon hong kong has set an aggressive pricing this time. I think I better wait for a while.
How do you find your new toy when compared with your F5?

Sorry for the late reply since I have just returned from my holiday in Malaysia.
I brought my camera in Man-Shing in Hong Kong.
The F5 is a well balanced and solid built body, faster focusing speed, and many others advantages. But to me, it is too heavy especially when you carry two lenses for a trip longer than 1 week...For the D100, I really enjoy the fun of digital photography since I can view the images immediately after shooting and I think this can improve my photographic technique a lot.
There is still a long learning curve in front of me for the D100!
