d100 compatabilaty with ringflash sb-21?
Hi there fellow nikon lovers.
Does anybody have any experience using a sb-21 on a D100?
I can't seem to get it working in ttl mode.
I'm using it with a 105/2.8 micro (all this is not mine, too bad...)
I know the d100 has the advanced d-ttl, but the sb-21 does work on the f80 and that one has d-ttl too.
WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO?
Or do I simply need a newer ringflash.
the sb29 or the sb29s?
and may the light be with you.
NIKON is GOLD
NIKKOR is HOLY

The D100 will only work in D-TTL mode with the DX range of flashes (e.g. the SB-80DX) which support the different pre-flash used by the digital cameras.
The SB-29 will only work in manual mode.
