I am glad I found this board because of all of the knowledgable members.
Having said that I need help... BUT I am a novice, so hopefully all replies will assume that I know nothing
Here is what I need help with.
If I take a nef photo, what are my options for printing them?
When I print through my epson photo printer 785, the photos seem too red.
Is there a way to fix these photos and then print them?
ALSO is there a photo printing service where I can fix the photo and have them professionally printed?
I am using Apple OSX. I also have photoshop
what do I do to fix these photos so I get prints close to the quality of my N80?
Thanks, in advance

This is a big topic!
As a starting point you might like to read Ian Lyons article on getting a decent results with the Epson ink jet printers. If you're opening your NEF files in Photoshop via the Nikon View NEF plug-in then they will be tagged with an appropriate "colour space", so the methods described in the article will work correctly and should help you get more accurate colours.
You might also like to read the article on colour management which will help you get your monitor calibrated and explain how to deal with all the colour management stuff.

I have found a photo service that understands the D100. Thompson's Photo in Knoxville, Tennessee. They have an FTP site that you can download to. They will process your images, and mail your photos back to you within 24 hours. Read my thread about the wedding I just shot with my D100, where I had them do the printing. I am getting some incredible LightJet prints from them.
