Opinions on the D100 with the Nikon 80-200 F-2.8 AFD
Please share your opinions on the D100 and the Nikon 80 200 2.8 AFD lens on it.The reason I ask is because of the 1.5x magnification and the weight of the Nikon zoom.(I am a bit afrait of the plastic look of the D100).
I have been told that the 18-35mm is the ideal lens for this camara, what about the rest?.
Please all type of information would be very helpful,I just got my 80-200 2.8 afd lens,18-35mm from B&H also own a Nikon 35-70mm 2.8 lens. The camara I use now is a Nikon F5,but having a close look at the D100.D100 OWNERS information on this camara please.
Thanks in advanced.

The 1.5x magnification factor is a misnomer. It is actually a 1.5x feild of view, ie, there is no magnification. You get the field of view of 1.5x the focal length of whatever lens you are using on the digital.
