Hi everyone!

I´m new to this forum. My name is Jan, i´m from germany.
I consider myself an amateur.

Till one month ago i used a f90x, micro nikkor, sc-17 cable, sb-23 and a minolta dimage elite to do macro work.
Then i decided to go digital and based on lots of tests and reviews i bought a Nikon 5700 although i knew about their weak points.
To make it short last week i sent it back and ordered a D100 instead(based on reading the posts in this forum and a little testing, which i did at a local seller).

Can i still use my sb-23 (with sc-17) with the D100?
Is there any TTL metering or do i have to do everything in M- mode?
Will the d100´s internal speedlight pop up with the sc-17 plug attached on the hot shoe? (on the 5700 i had to squeeze the sc-17 cord away, so the internal flash could pop up)

thanks in advance!

Jan
