Would you buy an Ex-Demo D100 for £999?
I have just seen an Ex-Demo body for sale for the bargain price of £999!! Now, as this is a saving of £500 I am very tempted to buy. I have only just seen this right now so I have to wait until tomorrow to call the shop and ask about its condition/warranty etc.
So, for this kind of price what condition would YOU expect/want the camera to be in to make you buy it and would you?
Oh dear me I'm talking myself in to buying toys again...must...ignore...the voices....

Most demos are outstanding buys and are generally in excellent condition. If £1499 is the normal selling price as opposed to an RRP, that's more of a discount than I've normally seen for demo equipment. In my opinion, it could be in Ex condition and still be a good deal. As long as it's not been beaten to death, it would be hard to resist.
I'm having fun with my new D100, by the way. Not that I'm trying to encourage similarly bad behavior, of course
