I'm interested in getting a wireless remote for my D200 and have read good reports on the Adidt R3T but am struggling to find where to buy one. It doesn't seem to list often on eBay - is there any store (that I can access on the net from Australia) that stocks them? Any help would be much appreciated. I've also seen on eBay a version under the brandname NIK - does anybody know of this and can comment? And finally I have also seen a Photo Technologies version sold by Landloop (US) - again can anyone comment positive or negative about this model? Thanks for any help forthcoming...
If you search "nikon radio remote control" in eBay you should find at least one US seller. For some reason most sellers don't say that its made by Adidt. I have one myself. It works as it should, at least so far. The 10 pin connector is rather stiff. I always afraid I may bend a pin.
Nice thing is that you can use it also as cable release, not just wireless.
I have both the M1 (wired) and R3 (wireless) from ADIDT which I purchased on eBay. The products came directly from China, were very inexpensive but work great. I recommend that you go to their web site and contact them directly:
John, thanks for looking into Adidt a little further:-
>I just mailed them and they said: > >There is currently no IR remote for >D200, though we are working on bringing one into market >soon. >
So for a D200 there is currently no Adidt solution - which means if there is anyone with experience of the eBay alternates (NIK or Landloop's Photo-Technologies) or any other option their advice would be very useful. Thanks, Rob

Search for WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL FOR NIKON and you should find a bunch of listings from the seller landloop (located in Hallandale Beach FL, United States). This is who I got mine from. Not all of the listing say it is for the D200 but if it works on a D1 or D2 it will work on a D200.
I also bought an RF "turbo" unit from Landloop a few months ago. The one that says D200 is $10 USD more than the one that says D2X, so I bought the cheaper one. Both the RF and the wired pieces seem to work just fine. It is not sexy, but it seems to do the job just fine, and it gives me wireless control for less than the cost of an MC-36.
