Is there a consensus on level of sealing Vs D2X/F5
Searched the forums but have not seen a discussion that compares weather sealing of the D200 against F5/6 or D2X. Would like to know how effective the gaskets etc of the D200 are compared to the top end cameras. Thanks.

My understanding is that it's well sealed but not at the level of the D2X. Nikon only says they both have "enhanced sealing" at "key points". Aside from that, I'm not sure. I think the general concensus is that the D200 can be rained on while the D2X can be "dunked". On the other hand, someone posted here recently about accidentally submerging their D200 for 2-3 seconds in a stream and it coming out fine. Presumably they had a DX lens with the mount gasket...
This is my Nikon. There are many like it, but this one is mine!
