I would be careful if I were you guys. I live in Hong Kong and none of the retailers even know the exact cost of the camera yet in Hong Kong Dollars. So its hard for me to fathom someone here actually has cameras to sell unless they are ones that fell off the back of the truck.
I know Nikon in Hong Kong release a press release regarding a shipment of D50 that fell off the back of the Truck. Anyways, I haven't heard anything about the D200 here but I would still be very careful buying a product that no one has access to unless it is a pre order from a respectable dealer.
Anyways, just thought I would throw this out for you all.

A few days ago I had a chat with the local Nikon/Canon dealer and he told me that the margin of profit that the dealers have now from the manufactures is very minimum. He said the only people making money today is Casio (fashon thing at the moment, Sigma (the only one always consistant)and Nikon and Canon but it is a teeter-totter with these two. Unless the dealer has low overhead it's a constant struggle now because of the competitive prices.

Yes I agree about not ordering it from HK, although most of them are powersellers with a good feedback, theres nothing to stop you wondering.. what if....Does not work out any cheaper, warehouse express is a good place to buy it from
I have used Hk supplies on Ebay many times and have positive feedback for them. If there is a store on Ebay you can trust its Hk supplies. Poon and Daisy is doing a very good job and i have preordred my d200 from them.
>Yip, they are on Ebay already. HK Supplies out of Hong Kong >£990. Buy it now (but not in stock yet)
Its the £60 p&p and certain Customs intervention that puts the price nearer £1100. Still £100 less than the UK price and the seller is almost certain to mark the package so your Customs bill will be around £20 max...
Here in Japan I'll be able to buy one in Bic or Yodabashi Camera for 198,000 yen minus 5% tax, so it'll be just over £900 or £300 less than the WarehouseExpress price.
