I just received my D200 and I'm struggling with the overwelming possibilities... I'm reading the manual right now and this forum. I've already programmed some stuff in the d200 but there's one thing I don't understand:
I've programmed the center selector button so that when you push it in playback mode, you zoom in. I've read from a few people that they programmed it to 100% zoom. In reading the manual, I see that there is the choice between low magnification, medium magnification and high magnification. Which option equals 100% zoom?

There's only 3 options you can chose, it's the middle one -- which is medium. From what others have said, that equals up to 100%. Not sure how they figured that out, but it's pretty accurate.
Hope this helps.

If you take a ruler to the camera back LCD, and measure the distance between any two points, and compare that distance with that found on prints from that same image, full frame, you will find that "Medium" gives a view the same distance, and size, as that found on an 8x12" print, and "Large" gives the same distance, and size, as found on a 16x24" print. Approximately.
