A few more days of rioting & the D200 will be cheaper to buy in Europe.

The D200 is being advertised for EUR 1699.00 on several websites in Germany.

If the 16% VAT is removed, the price is EUR 1464.65.

At the current exchange rate of $1.1780, posted on Yahoo, the price is only $1725.36.

NPS in Germany says it will be available in late December.

VAT in Europe does not apply to businesses. All VAT paid by businesses is refunded.

When I buy my D200, I'll pay the VAT, and the German Tax Office will refund the tax I have paid after I file my monthly sales tax statement.
