I have used GGS screen protectors on my D200 for years and now plan to install then on my D300s. I noticed that the protectors are now installed using 3M double sides adhesive tape; which is different from the way the protectors are installed on my D200. Has anyone had a problem with the tape install procedure? does the tape cause dust to collect around the edges of the protector? Does the tape block the ability to read the data on the LCD screen.
thanks for help, Bob

I too have the GGS 'click on' screen protector on my D200 and D700. When I ordered the GGS protector for my wife's new D7000 it was of the 'stick on' variety. At first I was sceptical but I applied them and they work very well. They're slimmer than the older type and are close to a fix and forget solution to protection. There have been no problems with dust, or indeed with them falling off, in the 6+ months so far. The screens remain 100% visible, both in size and transparency.
