Been checking Ebay every day to see how many D100's are listed by private parties. The number goes up every day. The big D100 sell off has begun. Anyone looking for a D100, this is begining to be a great time to buy one. The market will soon be flooded with folks like me selling our D100's to buy a D200. Cheap D100's ahead!!! Brian
About a 1 1/2 year ago, I bought a used D100 on eBay for $1000. I used it a year and then just kept it as a backup. I finally got around to selling it not long ago. I decided I would use the money for whatever Nikon came up with next. I was just using the D100 as a backup anyway. What is funny about it is when I got around to selling it on eBay, I ended up selling it for about $15 less than what I paid for it and that was with another year of use. You never know about eBay. A lot of people buying stuff just don't have a clue as to prices. So a lot of people selling their D100s still may get more than they expected.
Just last night I tried to get an online quote from KEH.com for my F100. Seems they aren't looking for any right now as they had 10 of them listed. I was hoping to sell my F100 to help pay for the D200. Seems it isn't only the D100 that is leaving people's camera bags in droves.
