Greets all.. was hoping to bounce my battery grip situation off
the group in hopes that someone may have run across this before.

D200 (8-9k actuations) with MD-D200 grip and 2 genuine Nikon
batteries.

If I "wobble" the grip, I don't quite lose contact but the
camera won't turn on and batt indicator on top LCD shows dead
battery. That blinking battery icon.

By "wobble" the grip I don't mean 100 lbs but if I have a heavier
lens (like the 17-55) on a level tripod, the batteries show as
dead. If I aim the lens "up".. about 20 degrees or so.. the
grip/batteries work flawlessly.

Leads me to believe I have a poor contact somewhere, but I've
given a close inspection to all the pins.. they all spring back
just fine.. in the camera the contacts look good.

For good measure I "polished" everything with a small pencil
eraser.. but it still acts up.

thoughts?
Thanks!
Tony
