I am wondering about my old D200. It now sits in my office safe and is used by several of my students. It has developed the rubber creep at the control dial and the rubber separation around the rear of the camera.

I was thinking that it might be worth the cost to have it gone over, a new rubber cover, etc.

Is this a worthwhile expenditure? It still works perfectly and it allows my students the chance to shoot with a higher end camera. Sometimes I let them use my D300.

If I wanted to send the D200 for refurbishing, to whom should it go and about how much might it cost?

Id appreciate any comments and assistance.

Thank you.
