Going to the Reno Balloon Festival over next weekend and will bring my entire camera backpack (D200, SB-900, monopod, and three lenses) with me to photograph. This is the first time that I have traveled extensively with the backup, and my wife is concerned about how we store the backpack, e.g., hotgel, car, etc., so that it isn't stolen and the equipment isn't damaged.

Raises questions about the maximum storage/operating temperature for the kit. The manual states +32 to +104 degrees for the D200. The backpack may be stored hidden from view in the trunk of the CRV.

What's been your experinec on this?
