Hi , on my d200 when single area focus is selected the smaller sensors around the large centre sensor are still showing and active even tho ive selected single area focus , has anyone else expirenced this ?
The sensors are always marked with small squares to let you see where they are. In single-point mode, your chosen point will have a large thick square. In group-dynamic mode you well see multiple large thick squares for your chosen group.
Is this not the behavior you are seeing?

Hi, what im seeing through the eye piece in single area focus is the same as if it is in dynamic area , large black square in the centre (which you can move around the focus area if needed) surrounded by around 11 smaller sensors , which go red momentarly when the shutter is depressed , im sure when i used to select single area focus there was just a single black square with no other smaller sensors around it .
