Help - Problem recording with RAW +norm setting
Hi there. I am hoping someone can steer me in the right direction. I am a fairly experienced D300 user. I have shot using the RAW + Norm file setting previously without any problems.
The other night I shot a batch using this setting. When I imported the photos into Lightroom 4, the first few photos showed up in both file formats as expected. The rest of the photos (50 or so) only came in as jpegs - no raw photos at all. I double checked my settings and my camera was definitely still set as RAW + Norm so I didn't switch it by mistake.
Has this happened to anyone else - any clues?
Thanks very much.

Welcome to Nikonians!
Sorry to hear of your problem.
Have you tried opening the card on your computer using Windows Explorer to verify that the Raw (NEF) files are really not on the card?
If the Raw files are there, the problem is likely an issue with Lightroom. If the Raw files are not on the card, I would recommend using Image Recovery Software like RescuePro from Sandisk to recover the NEF files.
I would then suspect that your memory card is corrupted.
Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!
