I have a D300s with 65,000 actuations. Yesterday everytime I try to load a CF card I either get a message that the card is locked or that the card is damaged. I tried to reformat the cards and then I get a message showing a flashing CHR and the sd icon blinks. According to the manual it says I should update the firmware. I did that but the results are the same.

I have no trouble with the camera reading the SD cards (that is what I used to update the firmware. the firmware was successfully updated. Any suggestions?? Other than to send it in for repair??
