I love my MB-D10, but for the price it's hard not to try it out...
Amazon review from someone looks good:
For me It was either out of the flashpoint and this one from zeikos .. They had some other ones buts theses two were the only ones that I found that looked the closest to the Nikon grip ... long story short im 100% pleased with the zeikos grip -- the painted matted finish on my Nikon d300 is matched perfectly on the zeikos ,, Nikon recognized the grip with no problem, I got my 8 frames a sec -- which I love -- the textured grip part matched the camera grips perfect , everything fit snug all the controls worked great especially the little control that changes the focuses point, the feel was snug when healed in the vertical position
My grip has been great - 1000's of shots and no issues. nice and sturdy - but it's your $ - so weigh if its worth getting this for a LOT less.

Welcome to Nikonians!
The electronics and wireing in the grip must be fully intigrated to the electronics in the camera body. If anything goes wrong in the grips wireing, the electronics in the camera can be destroyed voiding the cameras warranty at the same time. The MB-D10 has a magnesium chassie, I am sure the Zeikos is all plastic. You get what you pay for! Is the lower price worth the risk? That is up to you!
Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!
