Hello, i just wanted to know what´s the best way(configuration) to have a high speed sync with PW on the sb800? how is it possible(fastest shutter speed)?

You can use them off camera any time you want. Weddings, portraits or sports. You have to remember that with PW or Cybersyncs you lose TTL control and have to adjust the flashes manually. Meter off the ambient light and drop down 2-3 stops. Now adjust the flash power to get a properly exposed image. This will all have to be done in manual mode.
If you're thinking of a SS higher than the max flash sync speed of 1/250 (D300) then forget about any kind of distance. Anything above 1/250 the flashes have to strobe to completely expose the sensor and the power is greatly reduced. Not something you can use for sports.

If you want High Speed Synch or full iTTL with CLS using radio frequency control signals instead of light, you can use RadioPopper which converts the CLS pulses to RF and back to RF so there is no line of sight requirement. There are no special cables as all connections are either EMP for tranmitter and fiber optic cable at the remote.
