I ordered and paid for an N8 through ebay and today received an N6 (for a D80). The box says N8, but it is clearly an N6. Does anyone know how to get in touch with these folks? I suspect this is 50 bucks down the Hong Kong tube. Hey Nikon, what you got?

I have exactly the same problem except that my box was marked n6. I got one email from them stating that they would let me keep the item for $15.00 which is what it would cost me to ship it back. Since then I have tried to contact them and got no response and my credit card still has the 50.00 charge. The only reason I purchased from them was because of good PR from this site. If you find out anything please post as I would like to know how you finally managed to contact them.
Well I sent them an email tonight and heard back. It appears that they will not act until I return the N6 (not real clear given the english). They also stated the 15$ option and that is what makes me think they want the N6 first. Reasonable.
If you used your PayPal "verified account" to make payment you should be covered. I'm sure that, but for time, E-Bay and PayPal will help you sort it out. Fortunately, I had very good results using E-Bay and HKSupplies. They had it here (Canada) within a week. No I don't work for any of the three named parties.
Suffice it to say, I hate it when that happens to me. My empathy!

I've read enthusiastic reviews for the Phottix alongside complaints about delivery time etc. for quite a while.
Mistakes can always happen but I had a different experience buying an almost identical (wireless) remote called 'Aputure' from a company called Link Delight.
Shipping was VERY FAST. I think mine was here in Atlanta, GA in 3-4 days. $26 for the Wireless Remote included shipping. They sell all kinds of wired and wireless for Nikon and Canon etc. These appear to be manufactured by the same company as the Phottix brand.
But like Phottix, Aputure seems to be a victim of its own success. Delivery times are now shown on their offerings as taking 7-14 days.
If you search on Nikon + Aputure + remote you'll see all kinds of offerings.
i bought a aputure timer remote from ebay seller Link-Delight. Great for my night photography....wow.....i love it very much.and only 49.99US dollars.and sent me a ggs as gift,........perfect fit with my camera!!!!!!lOOOOOOOOve it very much....my camera is nikon D90 .
I also Placed an order on 3/14/08 received it 3/28/08 it was in a box marked WRC-N8 but was not the right connection for D300. It has the same connector that is on the N2 that works for D70s. I have sent email to HK supplies and Etefore that it was ordered through have not heard anything from either one.
The very same happened to me. I ordered the N8 (coincidently, also on 3/14), the box said N8, but contained the N6. I contacted the seller through eBay and after a couple of days they replied offering to send me the N8 for $15 extra. They also explicitly stated I could keep the N6 and sell it to a friend.
I just replied today asking for details on how to do the $15 transaction.
I'm willing to wait a few days to see what happens. I'm still cautiously optimistic and haven't given up on them quite yet.

I have also received the correct item. They do stand behind their product. It's too bad they don't reply sooner to Emails as it is bound to cause apprehension among their customers. Sorry to say it's not good business---when there's a fire, put it out now.

I got quick Responce from Etefore and HK Supplies. They offered me the same $15 deal but I told them I did not need N6. they said just keep it and they Promptly sent me the Correct N8. I am very Satisfied with Their Service.
