This is really a dumb question and after a year with this camera I should know better but:
I am down here in Mexico and have no D200 manual.
I am having a senior moment and for the life of me cannot get my LCD to stop displaying thumbnails and to display histograms.
I do not know how I changed it even as it was working as I wanted it yesterday
I have searched through menus and pushed a million combinations of buttons to no effect. I know it is something simple but at the moment it is frustrating me.
Can anyone help.
PS I would download the manual but I am on a very slow wireless connection here.

It is common to have the selector button doing that. Press through (depending on programming either upwards or right) a few times and you should get rid of the thumbnails & histogram view.

You need to press the button with the "grid" logo (it's the one below the "MENU" button to the left of the rear LCD) and at the same time turn the rear commend dial. This cycles the display through normal - 4 medium thumbnails - 9 small thumbnails - normal.
