There's a dk-22 and a a dk-7. Both are adapters to fit round eyepieces.
I'm not sure which one I need.
I want to fit a -2 diopter eyepiece and dk-19 eyecup from the D1 to a D200 viewfinder. I need the diopter to focus. The D200 doesn't offer the range I need. And the round eyecup will help with stray light.
Any ideas how to do this - what parts will I need?
I did a search for D200 eyecup and there is a lot of info in various threads. This for instance : https://www.nikonians.org/dcforum/DCForumID202/17618.html#8 But, I saw somewhere that the pieces for F100 fit on D200 as well, so you are on to something. There was a thread quite recently about this, but now I cant seem to find it... Kind regards Nielsen

I opted for the $35 three-piece Nikon rond rubber eyepiece because Boca photo told me it fits a tad tighter than their $9 one-piece clone eyepiece and also Nikon's (removable) glass insert is quality coated optical glass. My Nikon package fits perfectly tight and works great ... but my guess is they both do about the same job.

Thanks for the help. Bill, I especially found your advice helpful. I do have an eyepiece from the FE-2 I can use. The only issue is, it's an old one and has no flange for the eyecup! Sort of defeats the purpose! I could just use my friend's camera as-is. The diopter range would be a little short for my preferred shooting eye, but there is also the elctronic rangefinder. Or just use my other eye.
The -2 eyepiece I have from my D1h, on the other hand (from before I switched to the dk-17m) does however have the eyecup flange. But I doubt it'll fit the parts you describe above. I'm still hoping to find a way to use this one. Any ideas?
