For those of you out there with a new D300, I'm wondering if you can help me out. When shooting in program mode/auto iso, if you use the onboard flash or something like the SB600, does the exposure meter pop up on the LCD showing an underexposed reading ? I ask, because when using my D200 and shooting with a flash in the same settings, the exposure meter never popped up on the LCD. Is this normal ?

Apologies a thousand times for what I know is a rookie question. I searched the forum and found no similar topic. Scratching my head.

LOVE the camera, by the way.
