Has anyone tested either the D4 or D4s at 12-bit and 14-bit to see what quality differences occur? In the past I've seen tests (of different cameras) that showed trivial differences when going from 12-bit to 14-bit files. I realize that differences in subject matter, lighting conditions, ISO, etc., could affect this, but would still be interested in seeing such tests if anyone has done them. Given how file sizes are affected this would be useful to hear more about.

What about lossless versus lossy compression? Nikon's manual says that lossy compression leads to "nearly no" loss in quality.

Thanks.
