If I set my D4s to single servo autofocus and hold it horizontally I get a single AF point illuminated, as it should work. But when I rotate the camera it switches to group autofocus (four boxes are lit). Returning the camera to landscape orientation causes the group autofocus to change back to a single point.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Thanks.

I know the D4 can save independent horizontal and vertical orientation focus point point selection if enabled with CSM a10. It looks like the D4s has added to that by being able to save independent focus modes for each orientation too.

Well done! It does indeed allow that. Your choices are a10: Store by Orientation
1) Focus Point
2) Focus Point and AF mode
It only took a moment to work this out. Now if you can figure out the riddle of my monitor brightness issue (which I will post separately because it's unrelated to this).
Thanks very much!!
