...I'm not likely to buy one unless an unexpected windfall comes my way, and maybe not even then. No, what I'm hoping is that the D4s will cause a lot of D3s owners to upgrade and sell their D3s, causing a sudden drop in the prices of used D3s bodies.

Really, to avoid being at the tail end of the dropping prices, I think all D3s owners should upgrade to a D4s as soon as it becomes available. For your own benefit, you see. Yeah, yeah, that's it -- for your benefit.
