My eight year old battery that came with my D2H reads 4 on the meter. It charges up in half the time as my other EN-EL4's. Since it's 8 years old I think I got the most out of this battery. I'm replacing it with a EN-EL4A which I just ordered from Adorama. Do I need to break in a new battery? Do I charge it up and use it? Do I need to cycle the battery and refresh it?
Sorry for all the questions, I'd love to get another 8 years out of a new battery.
