Is it safe to take XQD card through airport scanners
The subject line asks the question. I'm assuming you can but thought I'd ask. I did a search but came up empty.

I did and there were no problems. I traveled through airports in the US and Iberia and the cards still work without problem.
They did make me separate my apples from the clothes. You know how dangerous apples can be.

Most of the media cards are solid state circuits and not magnetic disk drives. Unless the radiation was very strong, stronger than what an unprotected individual could safely take, there should be no problem. If the XQD card or any media card was damaged by the X-Ray equipment I would venture to say the camera would also be damaged.
