I shot with my D3 for five years. The only shots I missed with it were due to failure to achieve focus in low light. I skipped the D3S since it offered no improvement in that area. Now I have the D4 and I am amazed with its autofocus. It will achieve focus in lighting so low that I can't see well enough to compose the shot. The better-than-D3 high ISO performance is a welcome improvement, but for me the low light autofocus capability is worth the price all by itself.

ITA although I have not bonded with my D4 yet did just shoot an indoor basketball game and found that I was able to nail every shot even w/ extremely low ISO.
