Hello:

This is not specifically a D3S issue, but that's what I have so.....

I'm trying to set up the AF-ON button for back button focus and try it for awhile shooting football.

Problem is, I can't seem to get it to work.

I set c1 to "Shutter-release button" to OFF
and
a9 "AF Lock only" to on...."OK"

But BBF does not work. It does nothing when I press it.....Focus is still controlled by the shutter button in both AF-S and AF-C modes.....

Is anyone familiar with using BBF and how to engage it.....

Thanks, Rich
