Shot my first batch of images and came to take them off the camera. Plugged the USB cable in at both ends and...nothing. The computer (Mac) doesn't seem able to read the card as a disk.

I've always directly transferred images to a pre-selected folder without going through any extra software. Is this no longer possible? All my previous Nikons (D100, D2X, D3) have changed display on the top window as soon as a usb cable is plugged in, and the cards have appeared in the finder window. The D4 display doesn't change and nothing appears on the desktop. It's not visible.

Am I missing something in the manual? Is there a setting I've overlooked? I don't want to have to carry around yet another piece of kit in the form of a card reader.
