So, I finished a shoot and go back stage and the D3 won't lock on in AF. Then I notice later in the viewfinder the red flash icon is on with no speedlingt attached and the shutter will now not go above 1/250.

If I switch to MF this allows me to press the shutter but, will not take a picture unless I suppress it twice. Local shop couldn't fix it so, it's off to Nikon and it couldn't happen at a better time with the holidays around the corner. :/

Any ideas on what it could be?

Sure hope it doesn't cost and arm and a leg!
