I have had my D2x since its release in 2005. It does everything I could expect it to do and it currently has about 61,000 shutter actuation's. I have started to notice( I do not think it is my imagination) that the shutter noise is louder that it use to be. 61,000 clicks is a lot, but still only about 1/2 of the intended life of the shutter.
Could this be a precursor to upcoming shutter problems or is it my D-300S NAS talking?
