Hi
going soon to a safari/reportage in Kenya.

I usually take my D3/20-70/200-400 (fantastic camera) and my JVC gy-hm100u HD cam (like i did in Afghanistan last month) but you all guess its a heavy load to carry around... and just saw that D3s is $800 cheaper in Shanghai than in US....

Video is not the primary reason for the trip. I usually shoot interviews, some landscape. I thought it would be awesome to have both in the same body, shoot close-ups with my 200-400, stills and motion,...

This debate has been going in my mind for a while:
- Can I get a decent video with the D3s and leave the video-cam behind?
- How usable is D3s (video) for wildlife with a 200-400?

thanks!
Patrick
