In astrophotography, high speed films (ISO 800 and above) are often used to capture the stars. Has anyone tried it using the D1H yet? I'd certainly hope some fellow Nikonians would try it. I've seen astrophotographs being taken on the Coolpix 995 but not yet on the latest Nikon's fat "light suckers". I'd just shot some astro image on my Nikon F80 (using ISO 400 film, 28mm at f3.8 for 30 second) and got some real cool pictures(conjuction of 4 planets). I'll scan and post them after my exams. . I suppose the ISO 6400 of the D100 would be even wackier (not to mention more grains).

Proud owner of an F5. If only I can pull it out from my keyboard!
