WB setting and Fill Flash on a D2hs
I will be shooting some friends at a local golf course. It will be late evening and I will be using fill flash. What would be the best white balance settings be. I have an issue with shooting in grassy areas, I get a horrible green cast when I shoot people, and the flash does not help. What will the best process be. Should I use one of the filters that came with the SB800? Camera Nikon D2hs.

If you think that the WB may be an issue then shoot NEF and adjust later on the computer. I rarely need to do that with the D2Hs but when in doubt it is handy. I have never had the problem with green cast on photos in those circumstances.

I don't get a green cast either. A few weeks ago I did a shoot at a park for a friend's church. I left the WB on Auto and used the SB800 on a bracket set to TTL-BL. Colour space set to sRGB I. THe results were great.
