Is it just me or does anyone else think it strange a device capable of being wired is called wireless ?
Canon's version was basically a brick shaped brick and it seems that Nikon is thinking this is a good path to follow since their's is now attached to the photographer and requires a EL3e battery!! Out on the road, now you need the EL4 battery charger AND an EL3e charger. Or if in the studio, 2 AC adapters (one for the camera, one for the Wireless adapter). Not wireless, then that's another cable.

Message to Nikon - Power over Ethernet. It's an established standard that is in widespread use in the network industry. If you want to transmit images with wires use PoE and you only need 1 cable for both power and data. Please oh please ask people before you design things that are not in your area of expertise.
Message ends.

Regards
Adrian
