The D2x can stand the heat and I stayed in the Kitchen

It got a bit warm about 600 degrees(315 C) at the ceiling
It was only about 300 degrees (148 C) where I was positioned in the kitchen and behind the crews
I was in full firefighting gear air-pack gloves etc. Camera was un protected except for being in my hands with fire gloves Auto ISO set to 800 and 1/30 sec D2x ans 24-120 VR functioned perfectly
NO Ill affects what so ever to either camera or lens (had to clean the lens filter but ohh well)

Focus on what's right in your world instead of what's wrong
