Reading and re-reading all this comments on how wonderful the D2hs is. I want one!! I'm almost to the point of putting my D2x up for sale to fund the purchase. I've been weighing the pro's and cons of this move and keep finding favor for the D2hs. My main reasons are higher ISO performance (I love shooting available light), smaller file size.
When I first considered the D2X, I decided against it because of the cost and the reported problems of needing the best glass to take advantage of the sensor. I therefore purchased a D2H. A few months later the purchase the price dropped and the D2Hs was born.
Last August I decided I needed a backup and purchased a D70s, a great camera. A few months ago I started to think about selling the D70s and purchasing a D200. After reading about it's problems I purchased a D2Hs.
As I commented in other threads the D2Hs is better than the D2H but I can change the D2H files in CS2 without problems. Both the D2Hs and D2H are great.
