I hope someone here can shed some light on the problem I have.
My Sigma (f:2.8 APO) is about 8 years old and has worked fine until now. After using follow focus on a moving subject, the lens stopped focusing on anything near or far. My camera is set on single servo and is supposed to focus on subject when it stops. It does not, nor will it focus on anything. After 15 seconds or so, it works fine or if you turn the camera off then on. I also find that it stops focusing after focusing on say 20 different things in a row without panning the camera, again after 15 seconds it works again fine.
Is this the lens or the camera do you think?
Does not happen with other lenses. Maybe the lens is too old or not compatible with the D2X?
Thanks for any input.
