On the big auction site, a seller is doing radio remotes, 30m or 100m distances depending on how much you want to spend. Whether the frequencies used are legal in your country is another matter though !
I use Pocket Wizard Multi-Max controllers (www.pocketwizard.com). They work very well. Great range, 1600 feet as I recall. I bought them for flash control but use them mostly for remote triggering my cameras.
B&H has a Pocket Wizard kit (WIPWPK) for $349.00. I have the Multi-Max controller/slave because it has more options (toys, toys, toys).
You'll need a camera-to-controller cable. I have the (WIMCNN90M3) for $177.50. You could get the always-on cable (Mfr# 804513 • B&H# WIPTCNF5). Always-on is required if you want to fire your remote camera and remote flashes from one controller. The D2H/X delay time varies based on the length of time it has been asleep. It is impossible to sync flashes and camera if the camera's delay varies. I get around the delay problem by controlling the camera and having it trigger the flashes.
I got the cable for cheap on that one auction site who must not be named.
