Is the price / features of the soon to be released Fuji S3 Pro affecting the price reduction of the D2H and future price of the D2X ?
The D2X has a different sensor than the D2H do we expect the same amount of noise in the D2X or will the noise factor be less ?

Price, who can guess what they are thinking.
D2H is 4 MP LBCAST. D2X is 12 MP CMOS. C*n*n's experience with CMOS indicates that it is relatvely low noise. I don't have a D2H, so I can really say, but I would expect some of the noise about noise is simply the relatively low native pixel density. The D2X will have 3 times as many pixels in the same space on a different technology. I don't know that comparison is even appropriate.

The Fuji S3 isn't anything near the camera that the D2 bodies are. The only thing it has to offer is the wide DR sensor, but that's packaged in what's basically an N80 body. I don't think it's going to sell very well at its $2500 price, but then Fuji doesn't produce and sell very many cameras - they're more of a status item for the product line and they're targeted toward a small niche of buyers.
So no, I don't think the S3 has anything to do with Nikon pricing. Look at Canon for the real competitive pressure.
