Has anyone here used the Wolverine SixPac Flash Media Storage device? I have a big event coming up and I anticipate doing a large amount of shooting. I currently have six 256mb cards, but that won't be nearly enough without copying the files off partway through each day (currently involving a laptop I'd rather not carry). I can get the 20GB model for only $199 which is pretty cheap compared to a dozen more CF cards. Can anyone here report on their experiences with such devices? thanks, LB

I have used the Nixvue Vista with great success. Though it has a LCD screen saving RAW images takes awhile to view and delete. So, I just use it mostly for a storage device. I would also look into the downloading your CF card to a portable CD-R/DVD burner. That would mean transporting CD's with you, but it is another option. The Vista has an optional firewire connection which I like since I can then download my images to my computer via this faster downloading link. These devices come in handy out in field especially if you are shooting a lot or going to be gone for several days.
