Working with NEF in my D1 - good on-line reading?
I pulled the first few images off the new D1 this morning - nothing earthshattering, I'm afraid.
I have a demo copy of Capture 4, and am totally lost. Can anyone point me to a decent on-line digital workflow tutorial? I need to learn the basics before I can get functional! I gather that I can make some manipulations (sharpening, WB, etc.) in Capture, then either save the image as a TIFF for further working in PS or save as a JPEG for immediate web use.
Also, any book titles that would be useful would be appreciated, too. There's *so* much out there that it's hard to tell what's good and what's garbage!

>great site to know the power of NikonCapture.
This site didn't show up in my Google searching - thanks! Most sites seem to be PS-centric, and my quick take on Capture is that it's powerful enough for most of my processing needs.
