I was shooting with the D1 today (I was on break from riding the Vino today to go out and shoot with Daishi) in BW mode. I put a #29 red filter over the lens. now with the F4 & F5, the camera meter automatically adjusts to the reduced amount if light. It appears that this may not be the case with the D1. Below is an example of a shot I did, I only resized it n photoshop so I can fit the 70kb size limit but made no changes to the exposure. Done in JPG f/6.7 at 1/125th. A few shots were better and some were worse, but most are salvageable in PS. What went wrong?

EDIT: Spelling

If your ears are on fire it's because,
The Lord Nikonian has a flash gun.
