I've always wanted to play with a fisheye lens but thought I wouldn't use it enough to justify the expense. But recently I received a cash gift with instructions to do something frivolous and get something I wouldn't get myself. So, I got the 10.5mm fisheye.
To start getting into the mindset of "thinking fisheye" I took the lens out one afternoon and shot exclusively with it.
I'm attaching three shots from that first afternoon. They were chosen to show a variety of uses and not necessarily because I think they're great shots
Now that I have it, since it's pretty small, I'll probably carry it much of the time for those interesting shots I may have passed up before.
Yeah. It's going to take some time to learn how to visualize when to pull it out of the bag. One situation is like in image#1, works fine on very wide landscapes provided you keep the camera level. The others were less obvious
