Exposure correction with AF 80-200 ED
I have the impression that the above mentioned lens (first version) gives too bright results when set on 135mm onwards. I've read it's better to correct at least with 0,3+ anyway. All advice is appreciated. Cheers.

I thoroughly enjoy my 80-200mm f/2.8D ED IF AF-S and have not found the "brightness" effect you mention. I would sugest you take some slides and check it yourself. We do not know the camera/meter/film/printer, etc. conditions of the gentleman you quote.
I have learned to rely on my Nikon´s after many years of useless efforts to outguess them.
