Kimwipes from the science lab to clean lens?

1.) I have a box of kimwipes from the laboratory. It is used to wipe glass ware without leaving fibers behind. Can this be used as lens paper for wiping lenses?

2.) I have the Hoya Skylight 1B filter, coated on both sides, got a bit of finger grease on it, can it be wiped? What about the coating?
